Initial Clinical Assessment~ One hour $70 ( incl. tax)
Each client must have an initial assessment which includes obtaining a complete health history, history of the injury or condition, a biomechanical or postural screen, and a functional assessment. This session would also include some treatment. Not all injuries need to be activity related or athlete oriented.
Follow Up Clinical Treatments~ One hour $70 (incl. tax)
Treatment programs use a combination of exercise, manual therapy techniques, or modality use.
The following insurance companies accept billing for Athletic Therapy. Coverage will vary between plans so patients are encouraged to contact their provider or Human Resources Department to see if Athletic Therapy coverage is included in their benefits package.

**Many sporting associations (hockey, rugby, etc) also have athletic therapy coverage. Hockey Canada provides athletic therapy coverage for amateur hockey players and officials registered with Hockey Canada.
Athletic Therapy is a relatively new therapy service (1965), therefore not all insurance providers are aware of this treatment option. The following forms, created by the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association, are available to download and submit for request of Athletic Therapy Services.
